Alright, I didn't plan on posting this anytime soon. Mainly because it's spoiler-ish about my original story, Crimson Anthesis, and you wouldn't understand the symbolism behind this.
But well, I'll just go ahead explaining it for you and when the story will get to the point this illustration represents, I'll be a damn spammer and update it. And then you'll understand 8D
Remember when I went on rambling about the uni interview? I was saddened that I made almost none "decent&recent" illustrations, so I took all the energy and willpower I had to finish this, and make it something I'd be proud of showing. And in all honesty, minus some flaws I can see myself (like the lips ugh. Can't draw smiling+blowing lips apparently), I AM proud of it. I know I couldn't have done better even if I tried, and that's what matters.
The character is Eglantine, from the aforementioned story Crimson Anthesis I'm developing with my sister.

"The glorious Rhodonthea Kingdom is the most powerful of the entire continent. It is believed to have come to life roughly 1000 years ago, when the first Rhodonthean, Aphrodite, appeared in the lands.
Queen Aphrodite was of outstanding beauty; and she is still looked upon as a kind of deity even in the current Rhodonthean generations. The name "Rhodonthea" itself is dedicated to her; with "rhodon" meaning "rose" and "thea" meaning "goddess". The other firstborns, whom are also considered deities, were King Ares and his sister Princess Athena.
All three of them had what are presently "Elite Traits", though each of them displayed one more prominently. This inspired the names of said traits: Aphrodite's Blessing, multiple vital roses which brought fertility; Ares' Prowess, a thorn tail which brought power; and lastly Athena's Wisdom, is what people call thorn horns which brought cleverness. She is a woman who lives to love and be loved, and that brings her to be quite possessive with her beloved ones, even when they do not look at her the same way she looks at them
However, she can recognize her mistakes. She's very self-sacrificing, so if that will make you happy, so be it. It will destroy her, but she'll still smile. For you. <3
